What Do I Need to Trade on Vela?

  1. Solana Wallet

    • To trade on Vela Trade, you will need a Solana-compatible wallet such as , , or .

    • Your wallet contains a secret recovery phrase—never share this with anyone. Likewise, keep your private key secure, as anyone with access to it can control your funds. The best practice is to write down your recovery phrase and store it in a secure physical location.

  2. Assets

    • Vela Trade currently supports the following Solana-based assets: wBTC, and USDC. These assets can be used for both trading and providing liquidity to the Vela Trade Liquidity Pool (VLP).

    • Since Vela Trade is an on-chain DEX, a small amount of SOL is required for transaction fees.

  3. The only official trading interface for Vela Trade is . Do not attempt to access Vela Trade from any other link, as it may be a phishing attempt designed to compromise your assets.
